Thank you, Mr Perry (Pez) for your remarkable generosity and wisdom. I was lucky to have had you as both a teacher and form tutor some 15 years ago, and your lessons about life and literary terminology have stayed with me to this day. I hope that, despite your humility, we can afford you all the credit you deserve in accelerating the progress of so many of the boys at the school over the years.

With precious memories of an inspiring teacher, tutor and friend. Who can forget his sumptuous drama productions (The Rivals was a particular highlight) and his fearless teaching style. A walk round Winchester (or even our own house!) with Robin would be an amazing history and architecture lesson that was highly entertaining as well as informative. Thank goodness that in his later years he abandoned his "I'm afraid I don't do email" stance and was able to stay in touch. He will be greatly missed.

Pez - I can't believe you've left us - so soon and so early. You were an inspiration at Pilgrims' especially for my son Hal after the untimely death of his father, you went out of your way to support and encourage him- and me.
You were fun on the ski trips to Val d' Isere, endlessly witty and erudite in all aspects of life and I'll never forget your plays- they were brilliant! We had an almost equal capacity for red wine!
In my heart and memory always.
